Global Media IT – Softland’s local unit leads regional growth in 2011 – Argentina
The Argentine unit of Spanish administration software provider Grupo Softland recorded the highest growth of all the firm’s subsidiaries in Latin America in 2011
Softland Argentina general director Guillermo Vivot told BNamericas without providing hard figures.
The executive said that the Argentine unit expanded 35% in 2011. At a global level, the firm’s revenues rose approximately 16% last year.
The firm closed December with approximately 525 clients in Argentina. Net client additions during 2011 reached 60 companies, compared to 45 in 2010.
"For this year we are expecting our client base to expand approximately 20%," Vivot said.
Softland Argentina is seeing increasing adption of its products in agribusiness and manufacturing, he added, and "during 2012 these two verticals will continue showing high levels of adoption."
In November, Softland launched the latest version of its ERP solution dubbed Softland Logic 3.0, which looks to meet the needs of large enterprises or companies with complex business processes.
The company offers ERP solutions for several verticals and has more than 25 years of experience in the market.
