Business News Américas – Grupo Softland’s H1 sales grow 26% – Argentina
The Argentine unit of Spanish administration software provider Grupo Softland saw its sales in the first half of the year grow 26% year-on-year, the company said in a statement without providing hard figures.
During H1, the company added 20 new clients.
Softland Argentina expects its client base to expand approximately 20% this year from around 6,600 clients last year, company general director Guillermo Vivot previously told BNamericas.
The executive also said that the unit’s revenues are expected to increase 20% this year compared to 9.5mn pesos (US$2.4mn) last year, when sales through channel partners accounted for 15% of the company’s total sales. Direct sales accounted for the remainder.
The executive said that the company currently has five channel partners for its corporate-oriented software unit, which accounts for approximately 70% of total sales. Sales of software solutions for the SME segment is 100% channeled through partners.
Softland Argentina has clients in a variety of vertical markets, including hospitality, education, oil and gas as well as agriculture.
