Brazilian software firm Totvs has begun offering its agribusiness solution in the Southern Cone region, comprised of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, according to a release by the firm.
The agribusiness solution can be deployed via the cloud, as well as in-house, Totvs said.
The company also offers solutions for other sectors in the region, including the construction and projects, manufacturing, and services and retail industries.
SAP (NYSE: SAP) has introduced its cloud solutions for innovation and its managed cloud as a service (MCaaS) model in Guatemala, according to a release by the German enterprise software giant.
The solutions are aimed at the small and medium-sized enterprise segments.
The MCaaS model allows service providers to offer solutions based on SAP-software which are stored in the cloud, the release said.
Spanish ERP software provider Grupo Softland’s Argentine unit Softland Argentina saw revenues increase by 65% in 1H13 compared to the same period in 2012.
The incorporation of new technologies in the firm’s platform have allowed the company to position itself strongly in the local market, Softland Argentina’s general manager, Guillermo Vivot, said.
The firm had a particularly strong presence within the services and textiles, as well as distribution, industries during 1H13.
